Tuesday 13 October

Lens v Sporting CP (5.45pm)

Lens won their opener 3-2 at Slavia Praha, with the equaliser coming in the 90:47. Sporting came from behind to beat Galatasaray 3-1. Opta has this almost level: Lens 38.9%, Sporting 35.9%. Rodrigo Zalazar is reported absent for Sporting, though check that before kick-off. Both sides can score, and neither defends with much patience. Angle: both teams to score. Score: 2-2.

Sabah v Slavia Praha (5.45pm)

Sabah lost 4-0 at Old Trafford on matchday one and now play their first home Champions League match. Slavia lost 3-2 at Lens after leading. Opta makes Slavia favourites at 45.7%. Sabah have no points and no clear plan for stopping a side with Slavia’s set pieces. Angle: Slavia win. Score: Sabah 0-2 Slavia.

Arsenal v Lille (8pm)

Arsenal won 1-0 at Napoli. Lille lost 3-2 at home to Real Betis after collapsing in the second half. Opta gives Arsenal 72.1%. Reports are mixed on Piero Hincapié (ankle), and Saliba and Tzolis remain out. Havertz or Gyökeres leading the line is the main selection question. Angle: Arsenal win. Score: 2-0 or 3-0.

Atlético Madrid v Manchester United (8pm)

Atlético are on a four-game win streak, while United are on four without a win and have a thin squad. Shaw and Mainoo did not travel. It will probably be a tight game, but Altético will probably keep the 3 points at home. Our full preview covers it. Angle: Atlético win. Score: 2-1 or 3-1.

Inter v Club Brugge (8pm)

Inter lost 2-1 at Real Madrid. Brugge lost 3-2 at home to Aston Villa. Opta gives Inter 70.2% and Brugge 12.2%. The clubs have never met, and Brugge have won one of their last nine against Italian opposition. Inter should dominate midfield, but Brugge will find a way to score. Angle: Inter win. Score: 2-1 or 3-1.

Galatasaray v Barcelona (8pm)

Barcelona are missing Raphinha but have won five in a row. Galatasaray have Osimhen back. Even then, the Spanish team is in better form and will probably score plenty.

See our preview. Angle: Barcelona win and over 2.5 goals. Score: 1-3.

RB Leipzig v PSV Eindhoven (8pm)

Leipzig surprisingly lost 4-1 at Como on matchday one and have lost eight of their last nine Champions League games, according to Opta. PSV drew 1-1 with Shakhtar and have never won in ten away trips to German opposition in Europe’s top competition. Opta gives Leipzig 51.0%. Home advantage and desperation tip it. Angle: Leipzig win. Score: 2-1.

Viking v Bayern Munich (8pm)

Bayern beat Bodø/Glimt 5-0 on matchday one. Viking lost 3-1 at Stuttgart. Opta gives Bayern 79.4%. Bayern have scored 30 goals in nine games against Norwegian teams. Harry Kane leads the line; one report says Jamal Musiala is missing. Bayern didn’t win at the weekend, so they should push tonight.

Angle: Bayern win by two or more goals. Score: 0-4.

Villarreal v Napoli (8pm)

Villarreal lost 3-2 at Dortmund. Napoli lost 1-0 at Arsenal. Opta slightly favours Villarreal (44.3%). Napoli have not won in eight against Spanish sides, and a Villarreal defeat would make them the first Spanish club with eight straight European losses. Nicolas Pépé and Tajon Buchanan are reported out. Expect nerves. Angle: under 2.5 goals. Score: 1-1.

Wednesday 14 October

Feyenoord v Como (5.45pm)

Como beat Leipzig 4-1 in their Champions League debut, and could become only the third Italian club to win their first two games. Feyenoord lost 5-1 at Barcelona. Opta gives Como 48.2%. Como carry the momentum and the better attack. Angle: both teams to score. Score: 1-2.

LASK v Liverpool (5.45pm)

Liverpool lost 3-0 to Manchester City at the weekend but beat Atlético 2-1 in their opener. No Austrian side has beaten an English club since 1991. See our preview. Angle: Liverpool win. Score: 0-2.

Roma v Real Madrid (8pm)

Mourinho goes back to the Olimpico. Madrid have won the last four against Roma without conceding. Roma have a back-up goalkeeper. See our preview. Angle: both teams to score. Score: 1-2.

Aston Villa v Fenerbahçe (8pm)

Villa won 3-2 at Club Brugge and have won their last 10 European home matches. Opta gives them 55.1%. Sports Mole lists Onana, Maatsen, Cissé, Goretzka and Madjo out. Fenerbahçe drew 1-1 with Roma but are missing Oosterwolde, Muldur and Diouf. Unai Emery’s side have the edge at Villa Park, but injuries keep it close. Angle: both teams to score. Score: 2-1.

Shakhtar Donetsk v AEK Athens (8pm)

AEK won 1-0 against LASK. Shakhtar drew 1-1 at PSV. Opta makes Shakhtar the favourites at 36.9%, which tells you how tight this is. Shakhtar cannot play in Ukraine, so check the venue. Arda Turan’s side have the quality, but AEK defend well. Angle: Shakhtar win. Score: 2-1.

Bodø/Glimt v Borussia Dortmund (8pm)

Dortmund beat Villarreal 3-2. Bodø lost 5-0 at Bayern. Last season Bodø beat Inter, Manchester City and Sporting at home, so the Arctic pitch is no joke. Serhou Guirassy has 19 goals in 25 Champions League appearances for Dortmund. Opta gives Dortmund 45.6%. Dortmund’s reported absentees include Emre Can. Angle: Dortmund win. Score: 1-2.

Manchester City v PSG (8pm)

City are unbeaten and flying. PSG are the holders and top the table. Haaland is chasing a club record. See our preview. Angle: both teams to score. Score: 2-2.

Real Betis v Porto (8pm)

Betis won 3-2 at Lille. Porto lost 2-0 at Manchester City and are five points clear in the Primeira Liga. Opta gives Betis 45.6%. It is the clubs’ first competitive meeting. La Cartuja will be loud, and Porto’s defence looked weak at the Etihad. Angle: Betis win. Score: 2-1.

Slovan Bratislava v Stuttgart (8pm)

Slovan lost 6-1 at PSG. Stuttgart beat Viking 3-1 on matchday one. Opta gives Stuttgart 68.8%. Slovan conceded six in Paris, so the visitors should score freely. Angle: Stuttgart win and over 2.5 goals. Score: 0-3.
