Paris Saint-Germain vs Lyon at the Parc des Princes was scheduled for Sunday 25 October (kick-off 7.45 pm GMT, 8.45 pm local) in Ligue 1, but is now postponed to Monday 26 October 8.30 pm).
Both sides are level on 14 points after seven games, and PSG is missing three key players after Tuesday’s 4-2 win over Barcelona. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has torn his anterior cruciate ligament and is likely to miss the rest of the season. Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos are also injured.
Form & what’s at stake
PSG beat Barcelona 4-2 at the Parc des Princes on 20 October in a classic. Désiré Doué opened the scoring in the 38th minute, Xavi Espart equalised early in the second half, Lucas Hernández headed PSG back in front from a corner, Lamine Yamal levelled around the 79th minute, and Vitinha and Fabián Ruiz then scored late to win it. It was Barcelona’s first defeat of the season.
PSG have won their last three games, against Manchester City, Strasbourg and Barcelona. In Ligue 1 they sit on 14 points with four wins, two draws and a defeat to Monaco. Lyon are level on 14, having beaten Nice 2-1 on Sunday 18 October after losing 2-1 to Lens on 9 October.
The result matters for the table. A win would put PSG clear of Lyon and keep the pressure on Monaco at the top, while a defeat would leave Luis Enrique with a congested schedule and fewer attackers.

Team news & injuries
The injury list is the story. Kvaratskhelia went off on 59 minutes against Barcelona after a challenge with Espart, and PSG confirmed on Wednesday that he has ruptured the ACL in his right knee and will have surgery. Dembélé left the pitch with a left hamstring problem that could keep him out for up to three weeks, according to one report. Marquinhos also went off injured.
Lyon, managed by Fonseca, are without Lois Openda (leg, out for several weeks), Keito Nakamura (suspended after a red card against Nice) and Mohamed Ouedraogo (long-term). Nicolás Tagliafico (muscle) has resumed individual training. They also played in the Europa League against Hoffenheim on Thursday, three days earlier, so rotation is likely.

Predicted line-ups
PSG (4-3-3): Safonov – Hakimi, Zabarnyi, Pacho, Nuno Mendes – Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz – Akliouche, Torres, Doué.
Lyon (4-2-3-1): Greif – Athekame, Niakhaté, Bacher, Abner – Morton, Bidstrup – Nuamah, Tolisso, Boudache – Šulc.
The lineups are projections; the lineup will be announced 1 hour before the match.
The key battle
Doué and Akliouche against Lyon’s full-backs. With Kvaratskhelia and Dembélé out, PSG’s width falls on two younger forwards, and Lyon’s back four will want to contain them without committing the full-backs.
In the middle, Vitinha and Tolisso. The Lyon number 10 came off the bench against Nice, and if he starts, he will look to find Šulc in behind Pacho and Zabarnyi.
PSG vs Lyon Prediction & tip
PSG have the depth, the home advantage and a record of 12 wins in 16 league meetings with Lyon at the Parc since 2010-11 (Lyon have won three). But their attack is thinner now, and Lyon are a good side. We expect a tight game, but PSG should win.
Tip: PSG to win. Predicted score: PSG 2-1 Lyon.
